Why People Who Take Heart Protective Nutrients
Still Get Heart Disease

As you may know, I’m a big proponent of supplements. They’re a great way to add nutrients to your diet to protect you from disease. However, in the last few years, I’ve noticed that many people who take supplements to protect their heart still get heart disease. Why? Are the supplements not doing their job? Hardly. As you’ll soon see, the nutrients work extremely well. But avoiding heart disease requires more than just a good diet and supplements. Let me explain.

Arthritis, heart disease, high blood pressure, and macular degeneration run in my family. But although I’m over 70, I don’t have any of them. I’ve avoided these diseases by focusing on balance, which I learned from studying Chinese medicine.

Why Some Dairy Causes Heart Disease and Diabetes and Some Doesn’t

Why Some Dairy Causes Heart Disease and Diabetes and Some Doesn’t

here’s been a huge controversy about the effects of dairy on our health for decades. In fact, I was a pioneer in this area. Dairy is a primary source of calcium. And I warned people more than 20 years ago that a high-calcium diet could lead to heart disease and arthritis in my first book, The Nutrition Detective. And when I was asked to write for this newsletter in 1993, my first article was “The Calcium Controversy.” Both received a great deal of attention and helped raise awareness of the need for less calcium and more magnesium in our diets and supplements.

But too much calcium isn’t the only problem with dairy. There’s an even more startling problem that’s received very little attention. No wonder. It challenges the entire dairy industry in this country. This new information explains how milk can be either beneficial or harmful depending on the genetics of various herds of dairy cows.

This New Supplement "Breakthrough" Could Harm Your Health

This New Supplement "Breakthrough" Could Harm Your Health

The next big health industry hoax is on its way and I want you to be among the first to hear about it. I expect it will flood the nutritional supplement market and make its way into “new, improved” prepared health foods and beverages. There are already more than 500 products for sale using this technology. And 400 food and nutrition companies are exploring the subject. But the hype surrounding the application of this new technology on foods and supplements doesn’t have sufficient science. There’s no evidence at this time that it is superior ... or even safe.

The health industry is always looking for the latest and greatest discovery, whether it’s a product or a delivery system. Why? For financial reasons, of course. They charge more for “new” and “improved” products. Some of these are legitimate and great for your health. Others are not.
